Seberang Perai Nightlife

There is really not much nightlife if compare to Penang Island. Dinner with family and friends seems to be the preferred pasttime. The restaurants in both the capital and the surrounding towns stay open until the last diner has departed, and the natives can be found living it up. That said, the streets are blissfully quiet at night. Yet there is a few happening spots since the year 2005.

Juru Auto City

One of the noticeable place in Penang when you drive along the North-South highway will be the Juru Auto City. Started by the federal government back in 2003, the area is a one-stop center for food, auto showroom and endless carnival. Also known as Highway Auto City, the center is reputed to be the first of its kind in Malaysia displaying a good and posh selection of auto vehicle, business & entertainment district, as well as food galore. Juru Auto-City is located just minutes after the Juru tol plaza (if you come from the south) or the Penang bridge.

The very successful Auto City in Juru has become the talk of the town with its impressive list of food and entertainment outlets including Subway, Swensens, Tao Asian Cuisine and the Manhattan Fish Market.Auto city will be very lively when the sun goes away.
