Batu Feringgi Nightlife

The nightlife in Batu Feringgi is centered on its 'Pasar Malam' or night market. Open from dusk until late, often past midnight, the night market is a sidewalk bazaar of makeshift stalls operated by local traders, selling an assortment of goods ranging from souvenirs to fake goods.

Besides the night market, there are also a few pubs and restaurants scattered around Batu Feringgi, inside hotels and along the streets.

Batu Feringgi Night Market

Jalan Batu Feringgi comes alive every night as vendors set up stalls along it after dusk. Offering everything from fake designer bags to dirt-cheap pirated DVDs and home deco items to souvenirs, Batu Feringgi’s night market is Batu Feringgi’s main tourist attraction - not to be missed when visiting the northern part of Penang. Its reputation is so legendary that some have been known to come here on a regular basis solely for the night market. Best of all, you can still bargain for the best prices.

Sunset Bistro

A small beach bar, Sunset Bistro also serves Chinese and Western dishes. There are tables arranged on the beach so that patrons can have a relaxing cool beer out in open while enjoying the cool sea breeze and gentle sounds of the ocean. The beach dining area is also an ideal place to watch the sunset.
Location: Next to Parkroyal Hotel, behind Ferringhi Garden. Turn right after Parkroyal Hotel into a small lane, where you will arrive at a T-junction – turn left at the junction.
