Pavement Activities

Believe it or not, the seaside pavement along Gurney Drive is a popular tourist spot. Due to its sea-facing nature, the pavement is an ideal spot for some leisure activities – completely free of charge. Take a nice, relaxing evening stroll here from one end to the other, or just have a seat at one of the iron benches lining the pavement and just watch the world go by - simply having the gentle sea breeze caressing your skin as you get lost in your thoughts. Movie buffs can catch the latest releases at the Golden Screen Cinema in Gurney Plaza. Boasting 12 halls including THX-certified halls and an 80-seater Premiere Class hall, Gurney Plaza’s GSC Cinema is reputedly the second largest GSC multiplex in Malaysia, after the one in Mid Valley. This multiplex cinema is also able to fit 1,833 movie-goers.
